When contacting the school the Tutor is the first contact for parents who may wish to discuss student welfare.

Appointments can also be made with the relevant Head of Year should it be deemed necessary.

In both cases telephone first, in order to arrange a mutually convenient time. Tutors and Heads of Year have teaching commitments and may not be able to see you if an appointment has not been arranged.

At Tividale everyone will do their utmost to cater for the individual needs of each child. There may be, however, an occassion when a problem arises. Should this occur the matter should be taken up with the Headteacher. In the event that a matter is not resolved, parents should next inform the Clerk to the Governors, who will then inform the parents of the procedures open to them.
