Wider Community – Active Women, Phab Club, Rainbow Club |
a) Work with Active Women to support and promote the development of new group leaders to ensure its sustainability, through implementing a robust support programme and network for members to gain the skills they need to lead and innovate in their field.
- A minimum of 3 group members commit to tailored leadership skills programme.
- At least 2 of the women involved feel able to take on leadership of the group with additional support 3 months in to the programme of support.
- Participants inspired to produce high quality outcomes with their own group (evidenced in number of opportunities provided for participants to observe/shadow other group leaders and documented mentoring sessions post-observation/shadowing).
- The participants have the skills they need to pursue accreditation routes for the group to work towards, 6 months into the programme of support. (based on feedback from mentors six months into project)
- The participants feel there is an established network supporting their group that they can contact for additional support and guidance (participants should evidence their network of contacts in dialogue with mentors)

b) Members of The Rainbow Club acquire the skills to play simple melodies on the keyboard through the delivery of keyboard lessons and provision of appropriate resources to support learning including keyboards and music.
- 50% of The Rainbow club are able to play simple melodies and chords on the keyboard as a result of the lessons after 3 months. (based on peripatetic teacher feedback)
- 50% of the group are keen to carry on learning and gaining skills on the keyboard. (based on documented dialogue with participants)
- There is evidence that at least 15% of members have been taking home keyboards during the week to practise between sessions. (based on documentation of borrowing by group leader)
- 6 months after first sessions, 50% of group who had not played at all previously are still playing keyboard regularly. (based on documented dialogue with group leader and group members)
- The group play on their stand at the Sandwell Show the following summer. (documented on film)

KS4 pupils develop the skills to link and apply their learning in the arts with possible career pathways, through a series of business development workshops and opportunities led by local creative professionals and creative industry managers.
- Pupils will be able to identify how their current skills can be utilised in a business environment.
- Pupils will gain understanding about the diversity of career opportunities in the creative industries.
- Pupils will gain new knowledge about career pathways and how to make informed career choices.
